Krausz's paintings depict various spatial planes at once, embodying scripted messages of no literal significance. They are concerned with the emergence and dissolution of ciphers in infinite spaces. The works embody a kind of automatic writing arising from conductorial gestures.

Powdered pigments applied with dry brush ground the paintings on museum board. Krausz smears the pigment, leaving traces of ciphers in motion. He explains: "I'm interested in depicting limits of symbols, by showing the relationship between language and the unsayable, symbols in the space of silence. The paintings seek to integrate my philosophical and musical concerns."
